For our European headquarters, Corvus Norway AS in Bergen, we are now seeking a CUSTOMER SERVICE ENGINEER with experience from the marine industry, with what we like to call “Marine DNA”. The position will report to Customer Service Manager. Corvus Energy Inc. is the global market leader of large scale Marine Energy Storage Solutions (ESS). We take great pride in supplying our customers with our high quality ESS, using advanced lithium-ion battery systems proven economical, safe, and reliable in a range of challenging maritime and transportation applications. Through our people, Corvus delivers leading service and support for global customers by speaking the language of the marine industry.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Work to ensure customer satisfaction with our products and services
  • Provide field service to troubleshoot and resolve issues at customer installations
  • Commissioning of our Energy Storage System and handover to Customer
  • Create and update customer issue tickets as needed to provide up-to-date status on as-signed cases and final settlement
  • Download and analyze customer data for troubleshooting and monitoring purposes
  • Connect to remote systems to perform diagnostics and upgrade and configure software
  • Create RMAs and Sales Orders for returning and shipping parts to and from customers
  • Escalate and manage resolution of issues that require engineering resources as needed
  • Travel to customer sites to perform service actions
  • Create and maintain internal and customer-facing documentation to disseminate product information related to installation, operation, and diagnostics
  • Participate in creating and improving processes that allow Corvus to more efficiently deliver products and services to our customers


  • Experience from the marine industry and knowledge of ship systems (electrical & mechanical)  
  • Degree or Diploma in field of electronics or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Business and service-oriented mindset
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills applied to electrical/mechanical and software systems
  • “Hands on” experience installing and testing hardware in an industrial environment
  • Previous experience with lithium-ion battery technology and systems is an asset
  • Interest in “green” and “eco-friendly” technologies
  • Organized with the ability to manage high workloads and prioritize tasks
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong commitment to Corvus’ core values
  • Ability to travel (locally and internationally, on and offshore)
  • Flexibility with regards to working hours
  • Excellent language skills (English and Norwegian)
  • Excellent computer skills
