Havyard Group AS establish new company offering After Market services
Havyard Group aims to offer the customers even better service and support to ships in operation. As a result of this strategy Havyard Ship Services is established and will focus on after market services and support during the lifetime of the vessel.

Mr. Øyvind Sævik is employed as Manager in the new company and will start to build up a knowledge base within the services offered. He comes from the position as Manager of Trico Supply AS. In addition to the knowledge within Havyard Ship Services, Havyard Group has a resource pool of 350 people within the different Havyard companies. This pool has high quality, specialised knowledge within design, building and operation of advanced ships.
Havyard Ship Services will offer following services:
- Guarantee work and spare parts
- Service agreements
- Repairs and conversions
- Ship Building Technology
- Project Management and surveyor services
I have long experience in managing and operating ships and through my experience, combined with Havyards broad Ship Building Technology, I see great opportunities in offering these services. We will focus our efforts on giving customers building Havyard-designs support in all phases during the lifetime of the ship. Havyard has unique competence and knowledge about all ships they have designed and built and are the ones best suited to provide owners with quick and efficient service. Our competence may also be offered to owners that has not built Havyard-designs and is available world wide, Øyvind Sævik, Manager of Havyard Ship Services replies.
Havyard Ship Services AS’ main office will be in Fosnavåg, Norway and use Havyard’s Global Sales Network for offering its services world wide.
